Wurzelsieben 1 / 2

For Wurzelsieben, the art direction is built around a bespoke color system that assigns each project a distinct palette based on complementary color relationships. This creates strong individual identities while maintaining a coherent overall structure across the archive.

The system is designed not only for visual consistency, but also for long-term clarity and navigation. As the number of projects grows, the color logic allows for quick recognition and easy differentiation, forming a scalable framework for organizing the work over time.

In addition, a custom menu was developed to improve UX and enable faster access to projects. Instead of a traditional navigation layer, it acts as an integrated part of the system, making movement through the archive more direct and intuitive.

The desktop home is treated as a working desk rather than a static homepage—a space where ideas, drafts, and ongoing projects coexist. This reflects a more open and process-driven approach, where the creative workflow remains visible and active.
